Makeaux Market is focused on local delivery in Louisiana. Availability depends on the delivery address, the products in your cart, and the service options offered at checkout.
Check Your Address First
Enter the complete delivery address at checkout, including any apartment or unit number. An address in Louisiana does not automatically mean that local delivery is available. Choose only from the options shown for your order; if none appear, contact us before paying or making plans.
Plan for the Handoff
Use contact information you can check on the day of delivery. Include useful access instructions where the order allows, such as a gate code or unit location. Requests in order notes are not confirmed delivery appointments.
Have someone available to receive perishable items and transfer them promptly to a refrigerator or freezer. If you will be away, contact us before fulfillment to discuss what options may be available.
Keep the Cold Chain Going
Have space ready in the refrigerator or freezer before your order arrives. If you are transporting seafood onward, use an insulated cooler with adequate ice or frozen packs and keep the trip short. See Seafood Storage & Handling for home storage guidance.
What About Pickup?
Use a pickup option only if it is specifically offered for your order. Follow the confirmed location and collection instructions. Do not travel to a business or residential address unless your order confirmation directs you there.
Changes or Delivery Questions
Contact us with your order number if your address or availability changes. Changes depend on the stage of preparation and fulfillment. The final fees, timing, and conditions are the ones provided for your selected service.
